1. What is BTN Jakarta International Marathon?

BTN Jakarta International Marathon is a rebranding name of the Jakarta Run which was successfully held for the first time on 12 November 2023 with a total of 12,000 participants, followed by a second event on 23 June 2024 with a total of 15,000 participants. It is hoped that the BTN Jakarta International Marathon will continue to be a forum & inspiration for sports enthusiasts in Indonesia to channel their hobbies & achievements, facilitated by collaboration & support from the Jakarta City Government & PASI Indonesia for the trust and comfort of BTN Jakarta International Marathon (JAKIM) participants.

2. Where will BTN Jakarta International Marathon 2025 be held?

The 2025 BTN Jakarta International Marathon will be held on Sunday, June 29 2025, located at Monas Silang Barat Utara (Starting point) & GBK Main Stadium (Finishing point).

3. When is Registration to BTN Jakarta International Marathon 2025 open?

The registration period will open on:

  • Early bird online via website (12 December 2024, 12.00 WIB).
  • Early bird offline registration (13 - 14 December 2024), at the btn property expo event at Kota Kasablanka Mall, South Jakarta.
  • Regular / normal price registration (13 December 2024).
*Registration can be done while quota slots are still available
4. Who can Participate BTN Jakarta International Marathon 2025?

BTN Jakarta International Marathon 2025 can be participated by :

  • The 10K Category can be participated by Indonesian (WNI) with a minimum age of 17.
  • The Half Marathon and Marathon can be participated by Indonesian (National Category) and Foreigners (Open Category), with a minimum age of 17.
5. How many categories are there in the 2025 BTN Jakarta International Marathon?

Participants are allowed to take part in one of the available categories, namely:

11. When and where can I pick up my race pack?

Race packs can be collected during the Race Expo from June 26-28, 2025.

  • Thursday, & Friday, June 26 - 27, 2025 at 10:00 - 20:00 WIB
  • Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • Location: Kartika Expo, Balai Kartini.
12. at time does the BTN Jakarta International Marathon 2025 start?

The event will start at 04.00 WIB - finish.

13. Is luggage storage provided?

oods storage will be provided at the event location, and is intended for participants who have BIB, as follows.

  • Participants are advised to arrive early if they want to leave items to avoid queues.
  • The committee only provides goods storage from 03.00 to 09.00 WIB.
  • Participants are expected to bring necessary items.
  • Participants are not advised to leave valuable items.
  • Participants who deposit/pick up items at the baggage collection counter are required to show the BIB to the officer and fill out the item storage form provided.
  • If participants do not collect items within the specified time limit, the organizer is not responsible for the loss.
14. Is there a place to change clothes on site?

For changing clothes, you can use the toilets available at the activity location.

15. What should I bring when running?
  • Bring necessary items.
  • Participants are prohibited from carrying sharp weapons which could injure themselves or others.
  • Participants who have certain illnesses are required to bring personal medication.
16. Where are the parking location?

Parking Location will be announced at a later date.

17. Where are the water stations and ambulances located?

The location of the water station is at every 2 km point and the ambulance location is at every 5 km point. The route can be seen Here

18. Can I take a shortcut to get to the finish line?

Each participant is strictly prohibited from cutting off the road to reach the finish line, if something undesirable happens, the risk is burdened by the participant.

Terms and Conditions

1. Participant Requirements
  • Participants are Indonesian Citizens (WNI) & Foreign Citizens (WNA)
  • Foreign Citizen (WNA) participants are required to have a Kitas, Work or Sports Visa as one of the conditions if the participant gets a position on the race winner's podium. And if these requirements are not met then the participant will be declared disqualified.
  • Participants are required to follow applicable health protocols.
  • Age requirements:
    1. The 10K, Half Marathon and Marathon categories can be entered with a minimum age of 17 years.
  • Master category age requirements:
    1. In the 10K category, participants aged 40 - 49 (Master A) and 50+ (Master B) can participate.
    2. In the Half Marathon and Marathon categories, participants aged 40 years and over can participate.
    3. Only valid for Indonesian citizens
  • Conditions for the Marathon Community Group Challenge category:
    1. Community groups that can participate are BUMN and non-BUMN
    2. Community challenge participants must consist of 4 people with at least 1 different gender in one group (3 women & 1 man or 3 men & 1 woman). If there is a group that does not meet the gender requirements, they will be considered disqualified if they become potential winners.
    3. Each participant in the community challenge category only gets one BIB number. Participants are not allowed to register for more than one community challenge group.
    4. BIBs for the community challenge group will receive 4 BIBs with consecutive numbers.
    5. The community group challenge does not take place in a relay, all group members complete the marathon distance.
  • The exact age will be seen on the day of implementation.
2. Registration
  • General requirements
    1. The registration period will open on:

      • Early bird offline registration (13 - 15 December 2024), at the btn property expo event at Kasablanka City Mall, South Jakarta.
      • Regular / normal price registration (13 December 2024).
    2. Prices for each distance category of the BTN Jakarta International Marathon 2025 can be seen Here
    3. Participants are required to fill out the registration form with correct data according to their official identity (KTP/SIM/Passport), and are not permitted to use initials.
    4. The Organizer has the right to disqualify and the registration fee is considered forfeited if it is proven that they have provided incorrect data and information.
    5. Registration data filled in by participants such as name, category, competition, gender, t-shirt size cannot be changed or changed after the registration process is complete.
    6. Tickets that have been purchased cannot be refunded..
    7. Participants are required to complete the payment according to the price of the selected category until the payment status shows settlement and receive a registration confirmation email in the email after registration is completed (if participants do not receive the email, please check the spam/junk/promotion folder).
    8. If the payment process is interrupted or the participant accidentally closes the payment pop-up the participant can repeat the registration process again until successful.
    9. Participants can only register for 1 category.
    10. The organizer has the right to close or extend the registration period without prior notification if participant capacity is deemed sufficient.
    11. By registering, participants are deemed to agree to all the rules and regulations set by the organizer.

3. Race Expo
  • Race packages can be picked up at the Race Expo by each participant or their representative from June 26-28, 2025, Location: Kartika Expo, Balai Kartini.
  • Participants are required to wear t-shirts/jerseys/costumes that are polite and do not contain racial or political elements.
  • Race pack collection can only be done at the specified time and place.
  • Attendance at race pack collection is mandatory so if participants do not attend, their participation status will be forfeited.
  • Picking up the race pack can be represented by the condition that you bring a stamped power of attorney with the participant's signature and bring the original identity card and the original identity card of the person giving the power of attorney.

  • One power of attorney can be used to represent 5 participants.
  • All participants will receive a race pack containing a Jersey, BIB, Timing Chip, String Bag, E-Racebook
4. Race
  • General requirements
    1. The applicable regulations are in accordance with the competition provisions of the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) and the All Indonesian Athletics Association (PASI).
    2. Participants are required to comply with all sports rules and all instructions and guidelines provided by the organizer.
    3. The organizer has the right to change the implementation time and location or make adjustments to the implementation of the event.
    4. Cut Off Time for each category is :
      10K : 2 Hours
      Half Marathon : 4 Hours
      Marathon : 7 Hours
    5. Each participant in the community challenge category only gets one BIB number. Participants are not allowed to register for more than one community challenge group.
    6. BIBs for community groups will get 4 BIBs with consecutive numbers.

    9. The organizers have the right to use photos or videos of participants participating in this event without a time limit.
    10. The committee is only responsible for providing first aid or first aid and taking you to the nearest hospital, if an injury/accident occurs during the match.
    11. Participants who require further (intensive) assistance when an injury occurs is the responsibility of the participant concerned.
    12. All matters relating to children (especially child injuries/accidents) are the responsibility of each parent / companion.
    13. Participants agree, know and understand the risks and dangers that arise from participation in the competition and do not have the right to sue the organizer for any incident that could cause bodily injury, disability or death.
    14. Participants are advised to carry out a medical check-up or health examination before taking part in the event which is useful for knowing the body condition of each participant.
    15. Participants who have a history or indication of heart disease are required to undergo a medical examination with a heart specialist, and are required to report the results of the examination letter to the organizer.
    16. Animals, bicycles, in-line skate, strollers, strollers, shoes with built-in rollers or other wheeled aids are not permitted on the route.
    17. Participants will uphold sportsmanship during the activity and are committed not to carry out actions that are detrimental to other participants.
    18. Participants must know and run according to the specified route.
    19. The participant who is declared the winner is the participant who completes the competition with the best time, according to the competition category, wears the breast number according to the personal data when registering and does not commit any cheating.
    20. Participants who complete the competition outside the conditions above are considered disqualified and are not entitled to receive medals/prizes.
    21. Participants who start the race before the official start of the race will be disqualified.
    22. Participants who do not follow other rules set by the Organizer will be disqualified.

  • Jersey and BiB requirements
    1. Participants are advised to use jerseys provided by the organizer, which do not contain SARA.
    2. The BIB number is the participant's chest number which must be used on the front of the participant's shirt so that it is clearly visible.
    3. Participants are required to wear t-shirts/jerseys/costumes provided by the organizer, in a polite style and do not contain racial or political elements.
    4. Do not bend, tear or do anything else that could cause damage to the chip and result in the loss of your personal results.
    5. Registration and participant chest numbers cannot be transferred or traded to other parties.
    6. Selling, transferring or falsifying a participant's chest number to another person will result in disqualification and banning of each individual involved in the next event, also if it is proven that the violation has occurred, the organizer will report it to the authorities.
5. Finisher Prizes & Medals
  • All finishers are entitled to medals.
  • The jury's decision regarding determining the winner is absolute and cannot be contested.
  • Participants in the master category are not entitled to a podium in the national or open categories.
  • Participants who can win the Closed category podium are Indonesian citizens & foreigners who have KITAS
  • Participants who can win the Master category podium are Indonesian citizens & foreigners who have KITAS
  • Foreign participants who have Kitas are entitled to a podium in the national category if their time record is superior in that category.
  • The winner of the national category is entitled to a podium in the open category.
  • Foreign citizens can only win prizes in the Open category, namely Marathon and Half Marathon.
  • The Marathon category will have a finisher tee.
  • The winner of the community challenge will be determined from the accumulated average fastest finishing time.
  • If more than 1 group from the same community is a potential winner, then the group with the fastest time will be entitled to win.
  • Community Challenge participants have the opportunity to win individual podium finishes and have the option to choose individual prizes or group prizes (Community Challenge)
  • If cheating occurs, participants can protest verbally and follow up with a written protest before the winner is announced.
  • The protest letter is attached with evidence and signed using a stamp. The protest fee is IDR 500,000 (Five Hundred thousand rupiah).
  • If the jury's initial decision is proven correct, the participant's protest costs are considered forfeited.

  • The organizer has the right to cancel, change or replace all prizes at any time with or without notification to participants.
  • The committee has the right to award prizes within a period determined by the committee. Prizes cannot be exchanged or cashed.
  • Prizes cannot be represented or transferred and must show original identity according to registration data.
  • Prize & door prize taxes are the responsibility of the winner.
6. Other Terms
  • Conditions for Safekeeping of Goods
    1. The committee only provides goods storage from 03.00 to 09.00 WIB.
    2. Participants are not allowed to leave valuables in the luggage storage tent provided by the organizer.
    3. Participants who wish to deposit/retrieve goods at the goods storage counter are required to show their BIB to the officer and fill out the goods storage form provided.
    4. Loss of BIB is not the responsibility of the organizer.
    5. Participants agree, acknowledge and understand that the organizer is not responsible for personal items or property lost, damaged or stolen during the event.
  • The organizers have the right to use participant data for marketing activities outside the BTN Jakarta International Marathon, whether carried out by the organizers or other third parties who collaborate with the organizers of the BTN Jakarta International Marathon.
  • The organizers are committed to protecting and maintaining the privacy of personal data of BTN Jakarta International Marathon participants. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect participants' personal information during the administration of this event.
